@ The Loft

Upcoming Programs

This four-week class on self-compassion will introduce women to the practice of self-compassion, why compassion is an essential part of our nature, and tools that can be used to help us remember and return to the basic nature of who we are with ourselves. This program is a mindfulness-based class that draws largely upon Kristen Neff and Christopher Germer’s work in the field and will include content, discussion, and practices that incorporate working with emotions in the body. Self-compassion is a part of mindfulness practice that facilitates an inward journey, helping you develop a loving-kindness approach to yourself, your emotions, and your own suffering.

This class is limited to 10 women who are interested in exploring their own self-compassion and how to work through the blocks that might arise to bringing this into their lives. Please note that this class is not a good match for you at this time if you are currently overwhelmed with your emotions or if you are actively dealing with high trauma at this time. Please feel free to call Pamela directly if you have any questions:  812-590-3177.
